Mhairi is an economic development professional with over 25 years practical and consultancy experience. She leads all of our place development and regeneration work, assisting clients with project appraisals, evaluations, and feasibility studies.
Mhairi has particular expertise in property, place and town centre regeneration, having worked with clients (and a wide range of technical study partners) on the preparation of plans, strategies and health checks to guide future interventions, and evaluate the success of past activities. She is skilled in the use of socio-economic and financial appraisal tools, particularly to inform options analysis and support preparation of Green Book Business Cases.
Mhairi is Vice Chair of Scotland’s Towns Partnership and an Affiliate Member of the RTPI (The Royal Planning Institute). She sat on the judging panel for SURF awards in the ‘Most Improved Place’ category in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
