The Opportunity

EKOS is a leading independent consultancy practice specialising in economic and social research and we are looking to expand our team from researcher up to senior associate. If you have a passion for working in economic development and want to work with clients across a broad portfolio, then we are interested in hearing from you.

We are seeking to recruit new team members to help enhance our capacity in areas where we have a strong track record and reputation, such as: place development, skills, enterprise and innovation, sport and leisure and creative economy – and bring new specialisms and expertise to our clients in areas such as low carbon.

The Right Candidate

We are open to speaking with potential candidates from a range of backgrounds but ideally you will have experience working within economic development or an aligned profession.

At the senior level you will have responsibility for developing areas of the business, bidding for new work, managing projects and supporting the development of junior staff.

Research staff will be given support and opportunities to develop their skills and experience across the company portfolio where your key tasks will include desktop research, data analysis, and fieldwork.

• Research.

• Making the case for investment.
• Delivering public service improvement.

Location and Salary

We offer flexible working arrangements with 35 days annual leave and a competitive salary and performance bonus system – we would be happy to discuss your expectations based on experience. While our staff are currently still working from home as per Scottish Government guidance, going forward we will be adopting a blended model whereby colleagues can work at home and from our office in Glasgow.
