Our consultants have backgrounds in academia, economic development agencies, community organisations and the private sector, bringing a range of different perspectives to our work.
Katy Mulholland, Consultant
Katy works in our Strengthening Communities team. She is a highly experienced researcher and facilitator, who specialises in the fields of community learning and development, childcare, youth provision, advice services, social care, and employability. She is a trained practitioner of participatory appraisal techniques, a highly experienced and creative group facilitator, and a skilled interviewer of people from all fields and backgrounds. Since joining EKOS she has led or contributed to a large number of community consultation exercises, social research studies, feasibility studies, and project evaluations.
Katy has worked in, and for, the voluntary sector in varying capacities for the last 20 years. During this time she has developed experience working with a wide range of excluded groups, including lone parents, people with disabilities, ethnic minorities, elderly people, and young people. Prior to joining EKOS, she worked for One Plus as its Information and Research Officer. She has an Honours degree in Business Studies and Applied Social Studies. Back to Our People
