Our People
We have built a strong professional team that combines technical skills and professional experience in economic and social development with sound judgement, honesty and clear thinking.
Our consultants have backgrounds in academia, economic development agencies, community organisations and the private sector, bringing a range of different perspectives to our work.
Carolanne Quigley, Senior Consultant
Carolanne works mainly within our Strengthening Communities team, and she specialises in Housing and Wider Action, community regeneration, social enterprise, and equalities issues. She is a public policy analyst by training and background and is as comfortable facilitating high level strategy work as she is in conducting small-scale community research and evaluation studies. She has expertise in the use of an array of research techniques and is an astute and experienced facilitator. Her strong project management skills, attention to detail, and effective communication, means that study outputs are delivered as expected and when expected.
She joined EKOS from Communities Scotland where she built up a strong track record of achievement within the Housing Regulation and Inspection and Regeneration divisions. She also worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Strathclyde. She holds an Honours degree in Technology and Business Studies, a Masters degree in Operational Research, and a Masters degree in Public Policy.
